Proper Technique:
- Start by lying on your stomach with the arms extended straight out to the sides so that your body forms the shape of a cross or ‘T’
- Lift one leg up and cross the body to reach for the opposite hand
- Repeat with the other side for equal repetition
- Then, lie on your back and perform the same movement in front of the body

Improper Technique:
The leg is brought up so that the foot reaches the hand, not the reverse. Do not bend the torso to allow the hand and foot to connect; attempt to reach up to the hand. The shoulder blades should also remain in contact with the floor.
Common Errors:
Reaching down with the hand and twisting the torso toward the foot and allowing the shoulder blades to lose contact with the floor.
