In November 1998, Aventura Founders Park was dedicated to the Founders of the City whose vision and forethought led to the incorporation of the City of Aventura in November 1995. Centrally located in the park is a commemorative monument.

The 12-acre park is located just south of the Lehman Causeway and east of West Country Club Drive The northern portion of Founders Park features a staffed welcome center, a quarter mile four-station exercise trail, age appropriate and handicap accessible playground, four sun shelters, two clay tennis courts and a multipurpose athletic and open space field with plenty of room for baseball, softball, football or soccer. A pro tennis shop, public restrooms and vending machines are also on site. Founders Park programs include Adult Softball, Summer Tennis Camp, Tennis Lessons, Tournaments & Open Play.

• Park Hours: 8am - 7pm
• There is an admission fee for non-residents to this portion of Founders Park.
